Goodbye, WorldPerks. Hello FlexPerks!

Apparently, WorldPerks miles are transferring over to SkyTeam or whatever it’s called with Delta.

If you have miles with WorldPerks, they’ll be shipped over to the new Delta program. Supposedly, you won’t loose any miles. However, the biggest change will be from a Visa card to American Express.

My US Bank / World Perks Visa account was closed a few days ago (I think) and I got my new US Bank FlexPerks Visa today.

FlexPerks should be great because it’s Visa and you can use the miles on any airline – so they say.

The problem is now we’ll be racking up miles on the new Visa, but all of our old miles (about 150,000) are now with Delta & American Express.

Not sure if I’ll be forced to open an American Express account in order to cash out or use any of the old miles. Can’t wait to see how that plays out.
