The iTunes Store doesn’t list the renting terms anywhere so I had no idea what to expect when I rented an iTunes movie a few days ago. I paid the $3.99, downloaded the entire film and transferred it to my iPhone for viewing on my flight.
I watched The Assassination Of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and it was excellent… But lets get to the real goods: The terms for iTunes movie rentals.
Here’s what I learned about the iTunes Movie Rental Terms…
- $3.99 lets you download a movie
- You’ve got 30 days to START watching the movie
- When you start watching the movie, you’ll have 24 hours to finish it
That’s all I know for sure.
If you’ve got any more information or know the location of the official rental policy and terms, please leave a comment on this post.
