The question is; WHY?
Why go through all the trouble – and void the warranty – just to get a few new apps that will all be available starting in February?
Supposedly, Steve Jobs and Co. will allow 3rd party developers to begin building apps to run natively on the iPhone.
Thanks, but no thanks. I like my warranty and the security of knowing there aren’t any bugs, malware, spyware or viruses on my iPhone.
Of course that could all change in February.
