Today, the App Store for iPhone & iPod Touch officially opened for business with over 550 applications – and you can download them all right now!
Apple also launched the new version of it’s do-everything-software – iTunes 7.7. (Not sure why we jumped from 7.4 to 7.7, but who keeps track of that stuff? We just want the new bling!)
Unfortunately, the iPhone 2.0 software upgrade has not been released for download just yet. However, the sly, sneaky folks at TUAW.com have discovered the iPhone 2.0 install application sitting peacefully on Apple’s website. According to TUAW.com, the install went smoothly and a hidden feature in iPhone 2.0 is the ability to take screenshots of your iPhone… ah… desktop(?).
